USA Synchro Hosts Meeting of FINA-Technical Synchronized Swimming Ad Hoc Committee on Degrees of Difficulty

USA Synchro is hosting a meeting of the FINA-Technical Synchronized Swimming Ad Hoc Committee on Degrees of Difficulty for FINA Figures and Elements Jan. 18-21 at the WindsorMeade of Williamsburg in Virginia.

The chairman of the committee is TSSC member Miwako Homma of Japan. Other members are: Sonia Hercowitz (Brazil), Jennifer Gray (Great Britain), Mickeal Begon (Canada), Koji Ito (Japan), Barbara McNamee (USA) and Judy McGowan (USA). Biz Price of Great Britain is also a committee member, but she is unable to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to formulate and confirm existing difficulty factors in each movement within synchronized swimming, to analyze the effectiveness of the existing formula and to further analyze any anomalies that result from its use.
