CHICAGO (Jan. 11, 2024) – The UIC swimming and diving program had a great weekend, collecting four total victories against Eastern Illinois (186-70) (168-90) and Southern Indiana (200.5-85.5) (195-98) at the Flames Natatorium.
COMMENT FROM HEAD COACH ASHLEY DELL
“I’m very proud of the way the team competed in both meets this weekend. It’s not easy having back-to-back meets, especially after a week of hard winter training and they did great. We’re in a really solid place for the rest of the season and I’m excited to celebrate the seniors next Saturday!”
COMMENT FROM ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH/ HEAD DIVING COACH SUSAN BROMBERG
“The divers did great, we had two personal bests with Sami on three-meter and Camryn on one-meter and then five season best scores from Harrison, Cole, Christian and Gabby all on the three-meter, then Kerry on one-meter. You could really see that their hard training over winter break has really paid off and I’m excited to see how the rest of our season plays out.”
