MILLIGAN, Tenn. – The Milligan University men’s and women’s swimming programs will have a new set of hands to assist head coach Spencer Scarth in 2024-25. Timothy Stollings has been named the programs’ assistant coach.

Stollings comes to the Buffs after an illustrious career at NCAA Division II University of Findlay in Ohio. During his time with the Oilers, he was a two-time NCAA DII Individual Champion, an 18-time NCAA DII All-American (11 individual, 7 relay), a US Olympic Trials qualifier in 2021 and 2024 and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American in 2023 and 2024. In addition to those accolades, he was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference’s (GMAC) Male Athlete of the Year in 2023-24.

“We are thrilled to bring in someone with the talent and accolades that Timothy has,” stated Scarth, “but more importantly, he has a lot of enthusiasm and excitement for the sport. Throughout the interview process (even despite training for Trials), he showed exactly what we were looking for: excitement and wanting to be a part of something bigger than himself. I know our team is excited to have him on board and we can’t wait to get started!”
