The 2017 Women’s NCAA Championships will come to close tonight with finals of the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 free relay, and platform diving.
This morning brings competition in the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 free relay, and platform diving.
Tonight, swimmers will be competing in the finals of the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, and 200 medley relay, while divers compete in the 3-meter finals.

Weitzeil was a part of Cal’s 800 free relay at Pac-12s, but they swapped her out for Kristen Vredeveld at NCAAs. This could be because she’s more valuable on the other relays, but it’s noteworthy because of her health issues following the 200 free at Pac-12s.
After breaking the NCAA and American Records at the Pac-12 Championships, the Stanford Cardinal squad is the overwhelming favorite to win the 800 free relay at the 2017 Women’s NCAA Championships.
The favorite to win this race is Stanford’s Ally Howe, who broke Natalie Coughlin’s American Record and became the first woman to clear the 50 second barrier since 2002 at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships.
Simone Manuel will look to lead Stanford back to the top of the podium in the 400 free relay.

Texas’ Joseph Schooling, the NCAA Record holder, may have scratched tonight’s 200 fly final, but we’ll get to see him go for the Big 12 100 free record on the leadoff leg of the 400 free relay.
Texas’ Tasija Karosas completed a successful sweep of the backstroke titles at the 2017 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships, winning gold in a Big 12 Meet Record time of 1:51.11.
Townley Haas, last year’s NCAA champion in the 500 and 200 free, will be tackling some tough teammates in the 100 free today, the final day of the 2017 Big 12 championships.
One of the big races to watch is the men’s 100 fly, where Texas All-Americans Joseph Schooling and Jack Conger will go head-to-head.
