DIII Senior Spotlight: Briggs and Arisco
Bates senior Andrew Briggs spent his summer cozied up in a lab with lasers, exploring materials thin enough to only exist in two dimensions. Eastern Connecticut University senior Abby Arisco has spend most of her time on the move, visiting places struck by natural disasters and helping patch up the community.
NESCAC Day I – Williams Has A Small Lead Over Amherst
The men’s version of the NESCAC championships has begun, hosted this year by Bowdoin college. The meet format encompasses some events not usually seen in a championship, such as the 50s of strokes. After the first day of competition, Williams sits in the lead with Amherst in close attendance.
