Sjostrom ends the competition by recording the top ranked times in the 50 and 100 freestyle, the second fastest time in both the 100 butterfly and the third fastest time in the 50 butterfly.

Michelle Coleman also continued her strong performance on the final day of competition. Coleman finished second to Sjostrom in the 100 freestyle posting a time of 52.39 which ranks eighth in the world. She also took the women’s 50 backstroke in a time of 27.22.

Simon Sjodin, who has set several meet records over the course of the championships, destroyed the Swedish record in the men’s 400 IM. He won the event in a time of 4:06.84 breaking Christoffer Wallin‘s 2009 record of 4:10.93 by more than four seconds. His time puts him 10th in the world rankings
