ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis swimming and diving concluded the regular season Saturday afternoon with women’s and men’s victories over Maryville on Senior Day at Simon Recreation Center.

The Billiken women recorded a 131-55 win, while the Billiken men prevailed 123-50. Both teams turned in first-place finishes in every event.

Natalie Daniel and Carly McKeon were double winners for the women’s team. Daniel touched first in the 200 IM (2:12.16) and 100 free (53.46), while McKeon captured the 200 free (1:55.85) and 500 free (5:11.54).

Also winning for the Billikens were Nancy Hulslander in the 1000 free (11:10.10), Pola Luckiewicz in the 50 free (24.72), Samantha Weyant in 1-meter diving (201.25), Bri Hodgkins in the 100 fly (59.13), Erin Jensen in the 100 back (1:00.86) and Emily Smith in the 100 breast (1:08.31).

SLU claimed victory in both relays. Smith, Claire Koh, Hodgkins and Daniel won the 200 medley relay (1:48.51). McKeon, Sophie Kishish, Luckiewicz and Emily Leonard outpaced the field in the 200 free relay (1:39.49).

Janssen Gamilla won two events for the SLU men, touching first in the 50 free (21.43) and 100 fly (49.82).

Gamilla was joined in the winner’s circle by Franklin Liu in the 1000 free (9:56.40), Preston Waldusky in the 200 free (1:47.95), Ross Adkins in the 200 IM (1:58.50), Wyatt Johnson in the 100 free (48.35), Ethan Highley in the 100 back (52.80), Jack Locke in the 500 free (4:52.86) and Jeddrick Gamilla in the 100 breast (57.77).

The 200 medley relay quartet of Matthew Terrian, Adkins, Janssen Gamilla and Nick Soltys clocked a winning time of 1:34.88. Highley, Johnson, Ethan Gray and Grant Gerl won the 200 free relay (1:26.86).

Saint Louis competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships Feb. 16-19 in Geneva, Ohio.

St. Louis – In their final regular season action, the Maryville swimming teams made the short trip downtown to face Division I Saint Louis University. The Saints women’s team dropped a 131-55 decision, while the Billikens took the men’s competition 123-50. Maryville will next be in the pool at the 2022 Great Lakes Valley Conference championships Feb. 9-11, in Elkhart, Ind.
