RACE VIDEOS: 2014 Winter Junior National Championships, Day 1, Girls’ 200 Medley Relay

The story out of the girls’ 200 free relay on Wednesday, the first day of the 2014 Winter Junior National Championships, is the Canyons Aquatic Club’s 200 medley relay. While PASA’s quartet gave them a run, a fantastic breaststroke leg from 15-year old Nikol Popov (27.86), and an all-time great anchor leg from Abbey Weitzeil (21.19), combined with Mik Ranslem on the backstroke and Tamara Santoyo on the fly for the win.

  1. Canyons “A” – 1:40.25 (heat 2)
  2. PASA “A” – 1:40.34 (heat 2)
  3. Y-Spartaquatics “A” – 1:41.48 (heat 2)
