Multi-Event Futures Qualifier Rylee O’Neil Commits to University of Missouri

Rylee O’Neil, who lived in Montana before moving to Colorado for her senior year, announced her verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Missouri. O’Neil, who was a part of the high school class of 2021, is currently on campus and swimming at Missouri.

O’Neil attended Fossil Ridge High School where she was a part of their swim team during her senior year of high school. Before that, O’Neil attended Billings Central Catholic High School in Montana and swam for them her junior year. O’Neil swam year round with Billings Aquatic Club before moving to the Fort Collins Area Swim Team.

O’Neil was a part of the USA Scholastic All-America team her junior year of high school. O’Neil competed in the 2021 Speedo Sectionals and posted best times in the long course 100 free (1:00.62) and 100 breast (1:15.80).

• 500 free: 4:59.83
• 1000 free: 10:23.57
• 1650 free: 17:15.14
• 400 IM: 4:25.57
• 100 breast: 1:03.47
• 200 breast: 2:19.40

O’Neil is a Futures qualifier in the 200 IM, 100 fly, 200 breast and 200 back. 

Missouri finished 7th out of 12 colleges at the Southeastern Conference Women’s Championships in 2021. O’Neil would have placed 29th in the 1650 free, 46th in the 500 free, 41st in the 200 IM, 43rd in the 200 breast, and 42nd in the 100 breast. 

O’Neil would have been the seventh fastest in the 500, sixth fastest in the 1000, and sixth fastest in the 1650 out of the Missouri women in the 2019-2020 school year.
