“I am very happy to come out of this meet with two wins. Swimming Rider just two days ago, then traveling to a second meet within 48 hours is tough,” said Lafayette head coach James Dailey. “Today was fun because we swam the meet in short course meters. In my whole time here, I don’t believe we have ever swum short course meters. I know the swimmers enjoyed it because ironically all of our first-place finishers would be school record-holders in their events. We improved on our times from Saturday and it really showed today. We were more race-ready and sprint-oriented.”

“It should be a great Bison Invitational and Patriot League Championships, Dailey continued. “We’re already way ahead of last year and that was a very successful season.”

The Maroon and White will get back in action Jan. 26 for a men’s only meet at NJIT, followed by the Bison Invitational on Jan. 28.
