John Naber to Host USA National Team Alumni Party at the US Open

If you are a USA National Team Alum, and you live in Southern California or you are attending the US Open Championships, then this message is for you.

USA National Team Alumni are gathering today, August 3rd, from 3pm to 4:30pm for a social (details and contact info below). It’s for a good time and good food, free food courtesy of our home and host, the USA Swimming Foundation.

John Naber, 4-time Olympic gold medalist from the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, is our host. We all know and love John, and for many of us he has been an Olympic mentor, tireless in his efforts to support his peers. Join John at the Lampost Pizza and Backstreet Brewery, 14450 Culver Drive, in Irvine, California.  So far we have about 35 Olympic, World Championship, Pan Am, Pan Pac and WUGs athletes attending.

If you are a former USA National Team member and you have not  received an invite to alumni socials or received the alumni newsletter, please contact me so we can add you to the list. (Please Note: This gathering is for USA National Team Alumni only, however, we do host “open” socials for US club teams from time to time. For “open” socials, I will keep you posted with an official announcement courtesy of the USA Swimming National Team Alumni.)
