We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a passion for teaching and developing athletes
- Are great communicators and well-organized
- Are enthusiastic about the mission of SSC
Responsibilities:
- Leading group of age group swimmers as assigned by Head Age Group Coach
- Creating seasonal and weekly plans and writing workouts to ensure development according to the SSC Developmental Plan
- Track attendance and any test sets for group
- Prepare meet entries and coach athletes at meets
- Communicate regularly with parents
- Assist with coaching a senior group
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Head Age Group Coach or Head Coach
Requirements:
- Previous coaching experience at the age group, senior, or collegiate level
- Strong knowledge of swimming skills and training
- Currently hold or acquire all required certifications
