St. Bonaventure University, a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Men’s & Women’s Swim Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. This is a full-time 12-month position.
The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all phases of a combined program including but not limited to: Coordinating the recruiting of qualified student-athletes; assisting with the organization of practices/competition including on-deck coaching; assist with scheduling and budget management; coordinating travel arrangements; monitoring of academic progress; social media outreach and alumni cultivation; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must also demonstrate understanding, compliance and commitment to all Atlantic 10 Conference, NCAA and institutional rules.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. College and/or club coaching experience with one to two years preferred. Lifeguarding, CPR, First-Aid, AED and USA Coaching Certification (or willingness to obtain) is required. Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Employment is conditional on the successful completion of a background check.
