I hope this doesn’t sound offensive, but as somebody who follows Japanese swimmers casually and isn’t familiar with Japanese names, I find it difficult to know which athletes are male/female on a list like this. I know some of the names from prior international meets, but otherwise I’m left guessing. It would help to separate the names by gender, but if there is a simple rule, like male names end with an o and female with an i, I would love to learn it. Thanks!
