American swimmer and World Championship medalist Eugene Godsoe is staying busy during the fall of 2014, and on Wednesday he released both a new musical work and upcoming appearances for his pool work as well.
Musically, Godsoe has begun to delve further into the DJ’ing side of his talents as a separate project from his prior original and cover music. He goes by the alter ego “EEGO” and has unveiled his newest creation: a remix of Pierce Fulton’s Kuaga.

At the link above, swim fans can also vote for Godsoe’s remix between now and Friday, October 31st, and if Godsoe receives enough votes, it could wind up in a deal for his music going forward. As of posting, Godsoe ranked 156th in the contest.
Athletically, Godsoe plans to close out the World Cup series in the coming week in Singapore. On that tour, he currently ranks 11th in the 2014 overall series standings with 75 points, and with 33 over the last two meets has an outside chance at earning a cluster bonus if he swims as well in Singapore as he did in Tokyo.
After the World Cup, Godsoe will next race at the Grand Prix Brno in the Czech Republic in November.
Was excited when I saw Godsoe released a new song…
was even more thrilled when I saw it was a remix to my favorite song of the summer…
was even more overjoyed when I heard it…way to go eego!
Vote for Godsoe! Kid deserves it.
