Anna Dickinson, from the TIDE Swim Club, based out of Virginia Beach, VA, has verbally committed to compete for Liberty University as a member of the class of 2019.  Dickinson adds multi-stroke power to the Flames, as she holds some impressive short course yards best times as follows:
50y freestyle – 24.53
100y backstroke – 58.04
100y breaststroke – 1:04.57
200y breaststroke – 2:25.55
100y butterfly – 57.91
200y IM – 2:09.53
To put these times into perspective, Dickinson’s 100y breaststroke time would sit in the third spot on the most recent Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) rankings, released just today (11/11/14).  Here time also would have placed eighth overall at last year’s CCSA Championships.  Dickinson’s 100y butterfly time of 57.91 would occupy the eighth spot on the CCSA rankings from today and would have placed fifthteenth at last year’s championships.
The Liberty University women’s team will be graduating five seniors this Spring, therefore, Anna Dickinson looks to be able to slide into the pole position in a number of events and potentially become an immediate point-producing threat within the CCSA.
Big gain for Liberty…talented, coachable, hard working, smart and fun. I look forward to watching Anna continue her upward trajectory at Liberty!
