Virginia Tech will host 6 teams at the H2Okie Fall Invitational
The Virginia Tech swimming and diving teams will welcome six teams to the Christiansburg Aquatic Center for the 2014 H2Okie Fall Invitational on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

“We’re looking forward to standing up and competing this weekend,” UA head coach Dennis Pursley said. “Not only are looking forward to some great competition, but this weekend gives us a chance to compete in a championship format, which will help us down the road.”
MEET NOTES: Illinois Swim and Dive to compete at the Missouri Invitational
“The team is doing pretty well. They’re excited to compete at a three-day invitational,” head coach Sue Novitsky said. “We’re going to get the opportunity to face some teams that we’ve never competed against before so it’s always fun to swim against some different competition.”
MEET NOTES: Florida Gators to compete at the Georgia Tech Invitational
Coach Troy: “I feel real good where both groups are at heading into this championships style meet at Georgia Tech. This meet has several good team’s competing in it, and it will give us a good chance to evaluate the fall and see where we need to improve upon in the spring when it really matters.”
Florida Gator Women sign 9 to the SEC Powerhouse
Coach Troy: “We are extremely excited about the quality and depth of the class. We covered a lot of our needs with these student-athletes. This is an outstanding class of women that are not only extremely talented in the pool, but are great students as well.”

Arkansas swimming travels to Atlanta for a mid-season tune up at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the GT Aquatic Center, Nov. 20-22. Competition begins Thursday at 10 a.m. with the 200-yard freestyle relay.
