Emily Kopas, Allie Davis Named Big Ten Swimmers of the Week

Two Michigan swimmers earned Big Ten weekly honors, as Emily Kopas was named Big Ten women’s swimmer of the week along with Purdue’s Allie Davis, and Kopas’ teammate Siobhain Haughey was named freshman of the week.

Michigan’s Klein Named Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Michigan’s Chris Klein was named Big Ten men’s swimmer of the week after winning the 200 LCM IM while helping Michigan to a win at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic. Klein touched the wall in 2:05.48 to win the event.

Northwestern’s Annika Winses was named Big Ten swimmer of the week after her wins in the 50 free (24.01), 100 free (50.79), and 200 free (1:52.04) at the Florida Atlantic FUN Invite.
