Coleen Gillilan Surprises Herself with Near-PBs After Up-and-Down COVID Year

In the SwimSwam Podcast dive deeper into the sport you love with insider conversations about swimming. Hosted by Coleman Hodges and Gold Medal Mel Stewart, SwimSwam welcomes both the biggest names in swimming that you already know, and rising stars that you need to get to know, as we break down the past, present, and future of aquatic sports.

We sat down with Notre Dame standout Coleen Gillilan to get her perspective on the past year. Gillilan put up impressive times recently at the Shamrock Invite, where the Irish put on racing suits and the sophomore surprised herself with near PB’s. Gillilan explains the training that the Notre Dame team has been able to get in the last 2 semesters since getting back to campus, including a look into her favorite (everybody’s favorite): 200 fly practices.
