COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State junior Athena Clayson has been named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week, while San Diego State freshman Valentina Lopez Arevalo claimed both Diver and Freshman of the Week recognition.

- Took first place in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke with times of 55.63 and 2:00.26, respectivley.
- Finished first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.63.
- Set new pool records in all three events.
DIVER/FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
VALENTINA LOPEZ AREVALO, SAN DIEGO STATE
Freshman, Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
- Helped lead the Aztecs to their 36th-consecutive dual meet victory in a win over San Diego.
- Took first place on the 1-meter spring board with a score of 292.28.
- Finished with a career-best score of 288.38 on the 3-meter board.
