Claire Curzan, Lina Sculti Earn Pac-12 Women’s Monthly Swim & Dive Honors

WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE MONTH (November 2022): Claire Curzan, Fr., Stanford (Cary, N.C.)

  • Placed first in all but one individual event she competed in at the NC State/GAC Invitational (Nov. 17-19).
  • Swam three relay meet records in the 200 medley relay (1:35.94) earning second overall, 800 free relay (6:56.45) earning first overall, and 400 free relay (3:09.82) earning first overall.
  • Swam two individual meet records in the 50 free (21.55) and 200 back (1:48.50), earning first overall in both.
  • Only individual event she placed second in was the 100 meter fly (49.93).

WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE MONTH (November 2022): Lina Sculti, Gr., USC (Rye, NY)

  • The graduate transfer won three times in her second month as a Trojan.
  • Captured large 1-meter (282.45) and 3-meter (323.33) wins against Arizona State on Nov. 4.
  • Went on to take her third win and second 1-meter title (608.15) a week later in the Trojan Diving Invitational.
  • Posted runner up scores against Arizona on Nov. 5, earning 303.15 for the 1-meter and 358.35 for the 3-meter.
