South African Olympian Chad le Clos will make a guest appearance at the Abu Dhabi Swimming Festival later this month, per Sport360.
The festival, to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Feburary 28th, brings together swimmers of all ages and levels. The event will include various relay events for children and parents, plus the Abu Dhabi Mile event, an open water swim in the vein of South Africa’s Midmar Mile.
The event will take place at the Emirates Palace beginning at 8 AM on February 28th, and hopes to feature a large number of participants. The presence of Le Clos, the reigning Olympic 200 fly champ and FINA’s 2014 World Swimmer of the Year, should help expand fan interest in the event in a big way.
