2014 European Junior Championships
After a disappointing meet the year before, Rudin returned to the event as a veteran and ready to make in impact. In the 400 meter medley, Rudin was in first place after three strokes. But she was overtaken on the last 100 to take silver in a new British Age Group record of 4:43.56. She was back in action in the next event, 200 backstroke semi final. She finished 9th, right outside of a spot in the finals. In her final event, 200 meter medley, she progressed through the heats, semi finals and finals lowering her time at each step. She finished 6th in 2:16.50.
2015 World Junior Championships
Rudin had her breakout performance in Singapore in the 400 meter medley. A strong backstroke leg put her from last place to first. She continued to grow the lead through out the race, touching first in a new World Junior Record of 4:39.01 becoming the first female swimmer to go under 4:40 at the meet. In the 200 backstroke, Rudin finished 7th in the final and came 17th in the 200 meter medley.
