Nancy Schuchhardt
Born June 28, 1995 in Berlin, Germany, Nancy Schuchhardt is currently training at Texas A&M. Schuchhardt is studying Business and Management, which was important in her decision in choosing A&M. She’s primarily an IM and butterfly specialist, but she is also a talented freestyler, and she’s been swimming since she was 8 years old. Back in Germany Schuchhardt trained with SSC Berlin Reinickendorf club team for 12 years before joining the squad at the German Olympic Training Center. Standing 6’0″ Schuchhardt helped to accumulate the top recruiting class in 2014 ranked by collegeswimming.com, bringing with her international experience and Junior National Championships.
Texas A&M
2014-2015
Schuchhardt is currently in her freshman season as an Aggie. At the SEC Championships she finished 28th in the 200 butterfly and 30th in the 400 IM.
International Competition
Schuchhardt has represented Germany in multiple international competitions. In 2011 Schuchhardt grabbed the German Junior National Championship in the 400m IM – she also finaled in the 200m butterfly at the 2012 FINA World Cup.
