2018-19
Mark Theall almost immediately became one of A&M’s top freestylers all-time. At the SEC Championships, He finished 5th in the 500 free (4:17.34), 6th in the 200 free (1:34.02) and 21st in the 100 free (43.83). He also earned second team All-SEC honors as part of the 3rd place 800 free relay, and swam on the 6th place 400 free relay.
At the NCAA Championships, Theall earned All-America honors by finishing 7th in the 500 free (4:16.05) after dropping a massive 4:12.70 personal best in prelims. He finished 16th in the 200 free (1:33.41) and swam on Texas A&M’s 13th place 800 freestyle relay and 18th place 400 free relay.
2019-20
Theall Kept his improvement curve going into his junior year, as he went 4:12.17 at the mid-season Art Adamson Invite in College Station, then 1-uped himself and took it to 4:10.77 on day 2 of the SEC Championships.
