Dylan Payne:
Dylan was born and raised in Southern California, where he grew up swimming and playing water polo. He continued both sports during high school at Mater Dei, where he was All American in the 100 breast and 200 medley relay, and led his team to a section championship in water polo. As for his swimming career, Dylan was section champion in the 100 breast his senior year and was named Trinity League Swimmer of the year as both a junior and senior (courtesy of goduke.com). Dylan has continued his swimming career at Duke where he trains breaststroke.

Dylan was a part of SOCAL Aquatics Association where he swam under Steve Pickell and was a a member of their Junior National team.
College:
2013-2014:
During his freshman year at Duke, Dylan had best times in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM at the Blue Devils’ mid-season Nike Cup Invitational. He was also a part of the ACC Championship team where he competed in the 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 breast, and swam the breaststroke leg of Duke’s 400 medley relay.
Personal:
Dylan is majoring in Sociology while receiving a certificate in Markets and Management, and he plans to go to law school after graduation.
