Abbey Holmes of the Fairland Aquatic Swim Team has committed to compete for Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts next academic year. Holmes holds multiple team records for FAST and is a NASA Junior National Championship Cup qualifier. Assumption College hosts a Division II swim team and competes in the Northeast 10 conference. Holmes will immediately be a major point scorer for Assumption as her times in the 100 free, 500 free, 1650 free, 200 IM, 100 breast, and 200 breast would all have placed top eight at last year’s Northeast 10 Conference Championships.
“The school was very welcoming on my tour in April, and on my official visit I had even more fun! I really connected with Coach Stuart and the girls, and it’s a place that I feel will be able to help me excel in the pool and in the classroom for my college career. Go Hounds!”

- 100 Free: 54.35/1:02.43
- 400/500 Free: 5:14.33/4:42.99
- 100 Breast: 1:07.02/1:16.79
- 200 Breast: 2:27.62/2:50.13
- 200 IM: 2:10.71/2:27.67
