George Mason University Announces Incoming Freshman Class

George Mason University has officially announced their incoming class for the 2014-2015 season. 16 athletes total, 8 women, 8 men, will be joining the Patriots this fall.

Gentry Anderson – Atlanta, Georgia

We are very excited to have Gentry as part of our class this year. She has an unmistakable and shinning personality and is eager to join the program and get to work. Gentry will add depth to our aging butterfly group as well as our IM group.

Veronica comes to us from New York she will be a great asset to the team, having strong leadership skills both in and out of the pool.

From Emory and Henry College

Fredrick Sean King – Atlanta, Georgia

Sean joined us this past spring and has yet to compete but we are extremely excited to get him in action! He adds great depth to our growing breaststroke group will develop into a strong sprint freestyler as well. Sean has all of the qualities that we look for in prospects not just athletically, but in what it takes to become a true member and leader of a program.

Alexander Michael Lanier Morin – Fredericksburg, VA

Thomas Perkins – Montpelier, Virginia

Thomas is a great addition to our program and we expect him to become a role player in our middle distance freestyle events including developing into an integral part of our 800 freestyle relay. Thomas has a lot of potential to develop into not only a keep part of this program athletically but he also possesses many leadership qualities that we value.
