College Swimming News: Anne Lepeasant is in Oklahoma City covering the NAIA National Championships This Weekend.
While most of the national attention this weekend focuses on conference championships, there is also a swimming national championship raging in Oklahoma City: the 2013 NAIA National Championships. After day 1 of this meet, here are the up-down tables.
The meet isn’t as fast as expected, at least through prelims, on the women’s side. The men have had some nice swims, though. Several big drops from seed times, especially in the 2oo IM and the 500.
Oklahoma Baptist fielded 3-4 divers on both the men’s and women’s sides so they come into the meet way ahead on diving points. Plus their women had some great swims this morning. They are seeded 1-4 in the 50 free, for example.

Fresno Pacific, Azusa Pacific and Cal Baptist are all gone this year.
