County Attorney in Maricopa County Makes Statement on Greg Winslow

Ceci Christy contributed to this report.

Ceci Christy spoke with the County Attorney of Maricopa County today regarding the police report written by Arizona State University police department regarding allegations of sexual misconduct against Utah swimming & diving coach Greg Winslow.

County Attorney Jerry Cobb told us that his office has not received a police report from Arizona State University regarding Greg Winslow. Mr. Cobb is aware that the report exists and is expecting its submission to his office. Once the report is received, the county attorneys’ office will review it and decide what, if any, formal charges will be brought against Mr. Winslow. The charging investigation process generally takes 30 days to complete.

Given the multiple inquiries into this matter, the county attorneys’ office will likely issue a statement concerning any charges when it has completed its investigation of the report.
