The NC State Wolfpack welcome the Texas Longhorns to North Carolina for what is setting up to be one of the biggest dual meets of the season. The Texas men are currently ranked number one in the country while the NC State men are ranked seventh nationally. On the women’s side, The Longhorns are currently ranked seventh nationally while NC State is ranked 6th. The meet is set for Saturday, November 14th with an 11 a.m. start inside Casey Aquatic Center.
This is the third top 10 team in a row for the NC State men’s team. They took a trip to the west coast to compete against California and Stanford. The women’s team is currently undefeated, taking down USC and Florida State already this season.
Texas will enter its weekend with an undefeated record on both sides. The men hold a 4-0 record while the women are 5-0 on its regular season. Prior to coming to Raleigh Saturday, the Longhorns will face UNC-Chapel Hill Friday evening in a dual meet.
NC State will be handing out free T-Shirts to the first 200 fans in attendance on Saturday and they will be having a red-out.
Fans can follow along via live results or live streaming with talents Matt O’Donnell and Andrew Sanders. The meet can also be followed via the Meet Mobile app for iPhone and Android.

Rested? Focused on UNC? Whatever. Texas is so good they do not need any excuses if they stumble in a few races at NC Sate
The Texas men are more focused and rested for Chapel Hill today against Carolina. They will work out hard tomorrow morning before this meet with NC State. They have certain goals and expectations in Chapel Hill
From my understanding, the Texas men are not rested at all for either meet. They have been working really hard right up until they left for NC mid-morning on Thursday. Some rest will begin just before Thanksgiving when they head home and then start getting ready for the Texas Invite.
Should be an incredible meet.
Nice to see big time swimming back at NC State.
Is there an admission price?
It is going to be Free. I am bringing my swimmers to watch this meet! We haven’t seen a team like Texas competed in this area in a long long time… maybe ever.. And oh, we are definitely wearing all RED for the home team!
