King Marlin Swim Club gave the Viking a free pass to the “pro room” at the 2016 KMSC Pro-Am Classic in Lewisville, Texas this year. That means that I got to hang around during down time and talk shop with some of the nation’s best.
For this reporter, a few days chilling with these top-notch athletes served as a refreshing reminder that swimmers are some of the coolest people on the planet. It is amazing to see these people who have committed so much time to the water and are beyond college age still loving the sport as much as the young kids.
We wanted to share a little of that experience by giving SwimSwam fans a glimpse into the pro room, so I asked Bryce Bohman, Ashley Twichell, Chip Peterson, Mike Alexandrov, Hannah Saiz and Teo D’Alessandro to sit down and answer three questions for me:
