Background Peter Conzola was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. He competed for Freedom High School where he was a 4-time Academic All-American as well as a state champion in the 100 backstroke in 2013. When he committed to Virginia Tech in the fall of 2013 he was the fastest backstroke commit in the history of the program. College In his freshmen campaign Conzola participated in several relays and was member of the travel squad. He competed in the 2015 Virginia Tech Invitational where he took 2nd in the 100 backstroke behind NCAA silver medalist Shane Ryan in a NCAA B-cut time of 47.96. He also would go on to win the 200 backstroke at the Virginia Tech Invitational in a time of 1:46.54. Personal Peter hopes to pursue a career in business and currently majoring in that field.
