LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Swimming & Diving program has been picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
Fairfield took the top spot, earning all 10 first place votes and 100 points as the preseason favorite. Marist was picked second, coming in at 88 points. Iona is picked third, hauling in 77 points.
Canisius (67), Rider (65), and Niagara (49) took fourth through sixth right in front of the Saints. Rounding out the final three spots from eight through ten was Monmouth (34), Manhattan (20), and Saint Peter’s (12).
Siena will open their 2018-19 schedule on Saturday, Oct. 13 when they hit the road for a MAAC matchup with Rider in Lawrenceville, NJ. The MAAC Championships will be held from Feb. 13 – 16, 2019 in Buffalo, NY.
