The Eastern Michigan women came up with a victory over Akron this past weekend, claiming a 158-142 win. EMU’s Grace Van Allen contributed with 3 individual wins to push the team to a win.

The Northern Colorado women topped Colorado Mesa and Western State this weekend. They beat out CMU 208-82 and WSCU 184-115.

In an attempt to dodge the winter storm Jonas, the meet at York was changed from Friday January 22nd to Wednesday January 20th. However, the team didn’t manage to dodge the small cell that brough about half an inch of snow to the Maryland/DC area on Wednesday night causing a 3.5 hour ride home to be 8.5 hours.

Big Ten swimmer of the week went to Michigan’s Dylan Bosch after he won the 100 fly (48.04) and 200 fly (1:44.91) against Duke, Georgia Tech, and Indiana in a quad meet.
