A tie atop WIAA meet: Richland and Jackson share Washington 4A state title

For the first time since 2007, two teams tied for the Class 4A (big schools) state title as Richland and Jackson each finished with 169 points. Just a single point from making it a three-way tie was Newport, which took third at 168.
