(NLI Photos) Two Ames Cyclone Aquatics Club Swimmers Sign National Letters of Intent

Two Ames Iowa women have signed National Letters of Intent today.

Hannah Newell (on the left in the above picture) will leave the Ames Cyclone Aquatic Club to join Eastern Michigan. She looks like a good freestyle and backstroke piece for Eastern Michigan, holding best times of 24.29 in the 50, 53.55 in the 100, and 59.13 in the 100 back.

Her club teammate Sydney Sorenson (on the right) will head off to Towson University, where she’ll likely swim freestyle and breaststroke. Her times are 23.96 in the 50, 53.61 in the 100 and 1:05.37 in the 100 breast.
