This was great. It seems like Katie is in a good place and able to look back on an amazing career with appreciation. She’s awesome. Just downloaded her book.

One thing that sticks out to me whenever any high level/Olympic athlete speaks is that they are all appreciative of what other athletes and going through. Not ONE athlete I’ve heard speak has said anything negative or critical about Simone Biles, about athletes finishing in second/third or off the podium, etc. Those that know know.

Katie Hoff is incredible. She’s a former multiple world record holder. It’s just unfortunate that on her best chance at the Olympics there was someone better. I hate that Aussies usually use her as their counter example when people bring up Cate Campbell in Rio. It’s really disrespectful.
