For the second day in a row, Delaware Swim Team 17-year-old Jacob Johnson won two individual events to lead all swimmers at the Christiansburg Sectional.

Johnson won the 200 backstroke early in the session, going 1:46.15. Then at the end of the night, he took the 200 IM in 1:50.42. The latter race was a tight finish over teammate Matthew Otto (1:50.88). Johnson finishes the meet with 6 individual golds.

Saturday night’s double winner Morgan Liberto added another win as well. The Retriever Aquatic Club 16-year-old was 1:57.48 to win the girls 200 back. That came after a 200 fly/100 back double a night earlier.

Friday night double winner Heather Maccausland also capped the meet with another win. She was 50.19 to take the girls 100 freestyle. Maccausland also won the 200 free and 100 breast earlier in the meet for Golden Ram Aquatics.

Both of Thursday night’s distance winners repeated their titles Sunday. Egg Harbor Township Seahawk Maggie Wallace went 9:51.28 to win the 1000 free while Lancaster Aquatic Club’s Arthur Markley took the 1650 free in 15:36.09.

Other event winners were Nation’s Capital’s Katelyn Mack (2:00.70 in the 200 IM) and Justin Liu of the Egg Harbor Township Seahawks (45.69 in the 100 free).
