638 Swim & Dive Teams Earn Fall 2016 CSCAA Scholar All-America Status

91 more teams earned Scholar All-America status for the fall of 2016 than did so a year ago, according to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), which compiles the numbers.

Freshman Reka Gyorgy, who was swimming in her first NCAA meet with the Hokies, competed in the 400 IM. She swam her way to a winning time of 4:17.10, winning by over 12 seconds.
