Bridgeport’s Ruben Gimenez, Clarion’s Kristin Day Named Division 2 Academic All-Americans Of The Years By CoSIDA

The College Sports Information Directors of America, CoSIDA, recently published their 2015 Capital One Academic All-America team for the NCAA division II. Bridgeport’s Ruben Gimenez and Clarion’s Kristin Day highlighted the division 2 team as Academic All-Americans of the Year.

The 2015 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II At-Large Team features athletes from fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.

Twelve swimmers were named to the division two men’s team this year, while thirteen swimmers were named to the division two women’s team.
