Today at the Arena Pro Swim Series – Santa Clara, we’ll see Nathan Adrian and Anthony Ervin go head to head in the 50 free. Ryan Murphy will take on Mitch Larkin in the men’s 100 back, and the men’s 400 free will feature another battle between Sun Yang and Conor Dwyer.

On day 2 of the Longhorn Elite Invite, Michael Phelps will swim the 200 freestyle in an attempt to put up a time fast enough for him to get a spot on the 4×200 free relay in Rio without having to swim the race at trials.

5 Big Things From Day 1 of Arena Pro Swim Series – Santa Clara

Tonight, Conor Dwyer swam a 1:45.41, less than a tenth of a second off his best time of 1:45.32 from the 2013 World Championships. That swim was over a second faster than Dwyer has been at any meet since July of 2013.
