Rio 2016 Warm Up Pool Enclosure Ready For The Olympic Games

After the Maria Lenk Trophy served as a test event for the 2016 Games, it was determined that the outdoor warm up pool had issues with mosquito infestation. The new cover around the warm up pool should relieve the athletes of some of their concern, as it will help to keep mosquitoes out of the area.

2016 European Junior Championships: Brandt Wins With Sub-3:50 400 Free on Day 1

Spain’s Hugo Gonzalez, a finalist at last summer’s Junior World Championships, qualified 3rd for the 100 back final with a 54.94. Gonzalez qualified to swim for Spain in Rio, where he’ll compete in the 200 back.
