This role involves coordinating, organizing, and supervising the Rec-Plex Sharks USA swim team. Duties include direct supervision, planning, and coordinating the team’s activities. Responsibilities also encompass managing team and staff schedules, leading practices, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role demands independence, adaptability, and commitment to fulfilling team needs while upholding professional conduct. Timely communication across all swim groups and facilitating swimmer expectations are crucial. Responsibilities extend to budgeting, payroll, addressing inquiries, coordinating registration, meet entries, schedules, and planning promotional campaigns.
Candidates must possess exceptional communication, administrative, and customer service skills. It is crucial that the candidate remains informed on industry trends and developments in aquatics and coaching. Experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining aquatic timing system equipment is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of Head Swim Coaching experience at the club, high school, or collegiate level is desired.
