7 Nitro Swimmers Make College Choices During Spring Signing Period

Cedar Park, Texas-based Nitro Swimming has announced a group of seniors from their National Team who have recently signed NLIs to swim in college.

Ashley Strohmeyer: The Round Rock High School senior will swim for University of Arkansas Little Rock next year, where her versatility will allow her to fill in wherever needed. Her best SCY/LCM times include 100 back (59.05/1:11.04), 100 fly (58.68/1:07.35), 200 back (2:09.57 SCY) and 200 fly (2:13.39 SCY).

Andre Kuhn: Kuhn is a senior at Anderson High School who plans to take his sprint free prowess to University of Connecticut. Kuhn’s best SCY events, which are all from this winter include: 50 free (21.80), 100 free (47.25), and 200 free (1:42.88).

Adam Toler: Toler is a breast/IM specialist who will join Trinity University in the fall. A senior at Westwood High School in Austin, his best SCY events include 200 breast (2:12.13), 100 breast (1:00.03), and 200 IM (2:00.12).

Dylan Friesz: Friesz is a senior at Hutto High School who is headed to swim primarily back and fly events at Missouri S&T in the fall. His best SCY/LCM times include 100 back (51.39/1:02.37), 200 back (1:54.08/2:15.14), and 100 fly (51.25/1:02.53).

Emma Gogulski: A Vista Ridge High School senior, Gogulski is on her way to University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a Winter Juniors qualifier in 100 fly, and also excels in IM. Her top times include: 100 fly (55.53/1:03.68), 200 fly (2:03.78/2:22.53), 200 IM (2:05.20/2:26.82), and 400 IM (4:27.13/5:10.70).

Harrison Olle: Olle has opted to swim for Bucknell University in the fall. His best events are sprint free, fly, and back: 50 free (22.05/25.70), 50 back (25.03/27.88), 100 back (51.78/1:02.35), and 100 fly (51.72/59.19).

Maria Fernanda Montiel Gamez: Montiel Gamez will swim for Northern Arizona University in the fall. Her best LCM times include: 50 free (27.07), 100 free (59.11), 50 back (31.26), 100 back (1:05.52), and 200 back (2:20.87).
