12-year-old Kayla Han posted a 4:56.86 in the 400 meter IM, the 2nd fastest 400 IM ever swam by an 11-12-year-old, directly behind Olympian Elizabeth Beisel.

At the St. George Sectionals this month, Sammon dropped his free times from 45.91/1:40.13/4:35.74 to 44.01/1:37.36/4:33.45.
