WOMEN
Molly Brennan, Great Boughton, Chester, UK
Events: Backstroke
Molly is going to tear up the pool with some much needed backstroke depth to replace a few graduates form the Class of 2026. She is positively charming, has her act together, and will be a great addition to the culture of welcoming and hard work that has defined QU!
Florence LeBeau, Lorraine, Quebec, Canada
Events: Breaststroke
We can already anticipate the Brennan-LeBeau one-two punch and Florence adds breastroke to a team that needs it even more after graduating Faith Cummings this past year. Florence offers determination and hardiness from way up North and isn’t afraid of the challenge swimming in the GLVC!
Sydney Hibbard, Quincy, IL
Events: Backstroke / Butterfly
Some students at QU have longer journeys than others but Sydney can jaunt over from across town! The Sheridan Swim Club has produced fellow QU greats like Nancy Olson and Brendan Worster and QU is excited to add Sydney to the list. She works hard and is ready to do her part to help the team succeed!
Ann Claire Bosch, Windsor, CO
Events: MD
QU has had a storied MD program and Ann Claire is ready to throw her hat into the ring. She may flex up to some distance events but is ready to do the work and take ownership of the MD zone. She is certainly ready to train in one of the lowest and flattest states in the country after crushing it in the Rocky Mountains!
Alice Contiliano, Occhiobello, Italy
Events: Distance
Alice has had a long journey to get here but is finally ready to rewrite the QU record books! She is a remarkably assured distance swimmer and will flex into some sprints as well, as many great QU distance athletes have done. She is kind, laid back, and ready to go Roman and conquer this Conference!
Mia Howe, Paragould, AR, transfer from Simpson College
Events: Sprint
Mia adds much-needed sprint depth and is ready to contribute after two years at DIII Simpson College. She is ready to take the reigns and brings a veteran attitude to a QU team that feels more established every year but could still use that experienced leadership.
MEN
Emil Isaksen, Roskilde, Denmark
Events: Sprint, Butterfly
After graduating a stellar sprinting class, Emil seeks to fill a big role in a team with historically great butterflyers and sprinters. He’ll look to make an impact on day one and brings an incredible team energy to an already exciting group of dudes.
Oliver Toledo Paniagua, Palma de Mallorca, Spain / Transfer from King University
Events: Distance
Quincy graduated its team record holder in the mile and Oliver will seek to make his own claim in adding to a deep distance squad. He brings leadership from his time at a previous DII institution and will help balance a close-knit distance squad.
Evangelos Bouloukos, Argyroupoli, Greece
Events: Backstroke
Evangelos comes with a lot of spirit and dedication and some backstroke expertise to bolster a group that’s been talented but pulled in few directions. He’ll also add to Quincy’s sprint and MD events. He brings a lot of enthusiasm and love of racing to this team!
Wesley Anderson, Andover, MN
Events: Breastroke / Sprints
Wesley is a stalwart, rock solid guy who is looking to make his mark on the breaststroke group at Quincy. He’s had a few big drops this summer and has been a steady hand even before he makes it to campus. He’ll flex into some sprint events and is helping to replace a talented class that graduated.
Dane Tallent, St. Louis, MO
Events: MD / Sprint / Fly / Back
That’s right, Dane is willing and able to do it all. He is a gung-ho, team-first kind of guy and wants to do his part wherever he is needed. He has had some great drops at backstroke and will sprint but can flex where he needs to, even adding depth to a much needed 200 fly group.
Caleb Ortman, Willowick, OH
Events: Sprint / Breast / Back
Caleb can do a bit of everything and will mostly add to that sprint group that is growing by the minute. He has exceptional range of events, though, and can fill in when needed. Caleb has a calming presence in the storm that is college swimming but isn’t afraid to bring the thunder himself!
Oscar Edwards, Omaha, NE
Events: Back / MD
Oscar adds tremendous depth to the backstroke events but can fill in in any freestyle event as well. He’s a hard-working, conscientious guy who wants the team to succeed. He ran cross country in High School and brings that dogged determination and energy to the pool deck!
Harry Galloway, Bristol, UK
Events: Fly, MD
Quincy also graduated its team record holder in the 200 fly and Harry surely wants to put his name on the board. He will do quite a bit of fly for QU but isn’t afraid to step into the freestyle legs as well. He’s more of a mid-distance guy than a sprinter but will always go fast when called upon!
Matt D’Orazio, Helotes, TX
Events: Anything
Matt D’Orazio is the true Swiss army knife, able to hop into anything that is needed. This of course makes him a great IMer, but he can and will do just about anything for the QU swim program. He is outwardly relaxed but can unleash his inner jaguar at a moment’s notice and get the W.
Xander Dumas, Tacoma, WA
Events: MD / Back
Xander will compete for a spot in the 800 free relay, hoping to fill in some big shoes at QU. He can also do a bit of everything and can add backstroke depth as well as flex into some longer races. He is taking the long journey from the Pacific Northwest all the way to the land by the River and brings that West Coast Energy.
Max Bello, Tulsa, OK
Events: Br / Sprint
Max is a solid guy who wants to improve and succeed. Sounds like a simple recipe for success but hard to achieve! Max is a great teammate who will contribute in some breaststroke and IM events, but can flex into back or sprinting as needed.
Braden Kaylor, Hannibal, MO
Events: Sprint
About as local as you can get, Braden is QU’s first swimmer from across the river in Hannibal. He’s a great sprinter but also an accomplished musician that will enroll in QU’s music education program. Before he lights up the pool he’ll light up our souls with the National Anthem before the meet gets underway!
Ethan Scruggs, Rockford, TN
Events: MD / Dist / Br
Ethan can do a bit of everything, primarily a 200 / 500 guy he can throw down a 100 breast or even the mile if needed. He’s always got a smile on his face and brings great positivity to practice every day. He’s ready to do his part and contend for that 800 free relay.
Owen Crace, San Antonio, TX
Events: Sprint
Owen is a fella who likes going fast. He joins a long storied history of Texans at QU, including Matt D’Orazio in his own class! Like Victor Wembanyama on the Spurs across town, Owen is here to compete and dominate in a class all his own. We are very excited to get our season started!
