Carmel High School maintained its winning streak at the Indiana Boys High School State Championships, while sophomore Will Modglin swam a 1:45 in the 200 IM.
Seniors Griffin Hadley and Augustus Rothrock won two individual events apiece for Carmel as they outpaced runner-up Noblesville by 190 points.
Carter Lancaster (left) led off Carmel’s record-breaking 400 free relay and later posted the 6th-best time in 13-14 age group history in the 200 backstroke.
Davis also hit lifetime bests in the 100 free and 100 breast as Carmel raced 100s of each stroke this weekend.
12-year-old Carter Lancaster has now won all 7 individual events thus far in the 11-12 age group, continuing to improve his top 10 times nationwide.
