The Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving team captured its first dual meet win of the 2019-20 season, topping Miami (Ohio) 152-148
The Buffalo women opened their 2019-20 campaign on Saturday afternoon as they hosted Cornell and MAC foes Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan.
Akron won its sixth straight MAC title, and the almost-300-point margin was due to their depth. Eastern Michigan had two wins on the final day, and pulled away from Buffalo to hold onto second.
Akron won three events on Day 3 on the MAC championships to all but clinch the title, but on a day where 4 MAC records fell, Delaney Duncan stole the show for Eastern Michigan swimming 58.25 in the 100 breaststroke to get well under the NCAA A cut.

Grace Shinske and Paul Huch tallied a combined seven first place finishes as the Oakland men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams cruised past UIC, 178-103 and 191-109 respectively.
EMU kicked off its season with their annual Green vs White meet.
Sophomore Annette Schultz swam and won the first two events of the meet to power Dexter High School to the 2015 Michigan girls Division 2 high school state title.
