Swim Job: St. Bonaventure University seeks Head Women’s Swimming & Diving Coach

St. Bonaventure University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, has an immediate opening for a Head Women’s Swimming & Diving Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment which reports to the Deputy Director of Athletics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all duties associated with coaching a successful swimming program including but not limited to: the recruitment of scholarship student-athletes; organization of training and practices; budgeting; coordinating team travel; monitoring of the student-athletes’ academic progress; participation in fund-raising activities, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must demonstrate understanding, compliance and commitment to all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and institutional rules.

Bachelor’s degree and prior experience in coaching female swimmers, preferably at the collegiate level or similar experience, is desired. Candidates should possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Employment is contingent on a successful background check and valid DMV driver’s license.
